I sent [livejournal.com profile] melted_snowball's dad an email that his gift was coming in two shipments, and he'll be confused if he doesn't wait until they've both arrived.

What does he do but open the first one before the second one's gotten there? And call this evening and ask about why I sent him an mp3 player?

Thankfully, it was Dan who answered the phone; I probably would've been super-polite and explained the other half, in detail.

In contrast, dan told him he should've waited, and refused to tell what it was for. *grin*
