What price skunk-free?
Hm. So this isn't so easy. The guy from Urban Wildlife took about 45 minutes under our house, scoping out the layout and where the skunk was moving around. Due to the deck, and the constricted space, he quoted $600 $420 for a temporary solution that he could do tomorrow that doesn't involve digging into frozen ground, but would cause the skunk to be removed; and $720 for a permanant solution he could do in a few weeks when the ground's soft enough. Both involve installing a temporary one-way door, and lots and lots of reinforced chickenwire.
He recommended skipping the temporary solution.
$720 is a heck of a lot of money. Though, it would come with 3 years skunk insurance.
[Edited to fix misquote. $720 is still a lot of money.]
