On mind-numbing boredom

There's little as boring as entering one's expenses into Quicken. (*)

Last fall, we filled our tank at the Ultramar Gas Bar in Garafraxa, Ontario. That should be a song. "I Wanna go Back to Garafraxa". You could sing it at the Gas Bar.

Speaking of songs, last month we went to dinner at Charbries, one of our favourite local restaurants. Their cash-register was having a bad hair day. So the next time I'm asked to a poetry slam, I'll contribute this:

* (melted_snowball would claim grading is as boring, but I think Quicken's worse, especially for accounts that aren't automatically downloaded from the bank. Why aren't they? That's a damn good question I've been wondering myself.)
