Citizenship Ceremony: not in the next three weeks.

I went to the Citizenship office this morning and learned that I'm not gonna become official in the next three weeks. The officiant for June hasn't booked his ceremony-dates yet, so they haven't scheduled our ceremonies yet. I might learn this week. Maybe.

I suppose this was a good use of 45 minutes of my time, because my parents were worried about some dates in May, and originally there might've been the chance it would happen while dan was away or the day he came back!

In passing, I'd like to note that I would happily trade in the part of my sinuses sensitive to air-pressure changes. The fun started a few years ago, and has gotten slightly more pronounced over time. I'm not ecstatic about the superhero trait of being able to tell when it's gonna rain that day even if the paper weather says it won't.

But it is certain to be in June?

Guaranteed? No. But I'd say likely, since they originally said end-of-may or beginning-of-june. If I believe the bureaucrats at all.

I thought *I* was the one gifted with that superpower of rain prediction via the sinuses.......

I use Tylenol sinus. On the really bad days, when the sinus headache triggers a full-out migraine, I add 800 mg of Motrin to the Tylenol Sinus. That usually takes care of it. Try that.....

...and I still haven't found a source for Tylenol Sinus, after you suggested it last November. I was convinced it wasn't sold in Canada, but another friend had some here.

OK, I'm going to the grocery store tonight. So I"ll look. :)

Whee, more thunderstorms, but I think the pressure's not so much different from earlier, b/c the head's not so bad right now. *cross fingers*

I wish we had some rain down here!

I had forgotten that we'd had this conversation before. But, good luck with those sinuses, in any case!

Something tells me you don't want last night's rain.

Trees down everywhere!

And... the grocery store didn't stock Tylenol Sinus. I'm thinking my friend might've gotten them from the US. The search continues; hopefully I can remember to stop at a real pharmacy tonight.

Well, you can use something analogous. Just look for something that contains an anti-inflammatory and an alpha-adrenergic component (pseudoephedrine or something similar). There should be some kind of cold/sinus combo thing up there. (I mean, I know it's a developing country and all, but still!.... ;-)
