Doo do do doo do do...

That was fun. I was just starting to bike home when the skies opened up. I had known they would, too, from the radar map. Apart from the oily taste to the water, I enjoyed that quite a bit. Now it's time for a quick shower, as my hair is full of road sand.

Yes, I can confirm that naked ranting is an effective restorative.

...While public naked ranting can also be soothing, it tends to have unwelcome side-effects.

In weather like this, a ride in a nice summer rain can be wonderful. :) The only drawback is that it usually puts all sorts of crap into you chain / gears / etc., necessitating a bit more vigorous a cleaning than usual.

Absolute torrential drenching downpour. Yep.

I don't mind riding in it, except for the glasses. Water drops on the lenses means reduced vision for me.

On the plus side, it was the perfect weather to be out in the rain.
