Life imitates art and so on.

One of the first things I read this morning was from [livejournal.com profile] kung_fu_monkey, which does speak for itself: http://www.theonion.com/content/video/ninja_parade_slips_through_town [video, with sound, SFW if that's OK].

But just after that, I read this bit of marvelousness from [livejournal.com profile] frankie_ecap. I wonder what sorts of similar activity is going on right under our noses... Maybe not as brazen as fixing historic clocks, but just unasked-for, un-rewarded good works that go against The Rules.

In the same vein, from [livejournal.com profile] mirabilis_syn, there's this bit of very cool and bizarre excavation which was done very much without a building permit. Now, it may or may not turn out to be totally true, given the tabloid source... But there are pretty photos!

Meanwhile, I got to work an hour early this morning to prep for a 9am meeting, which was canceled. But I don't mind, because I'm being productive. Well, I was, before I started writing this a few minutes ago.

Hah! Love the ninja parade! It's a good thing that the pirate celebration wasn't being held on the same day.
