gnar

My desk is covered with mail and semi-sorted papers. Last night I spent an hour looking for something I had left at work. Which I fortunately found, since I needed it this morning.

I bought a little bar of chocolate yesterday and I can't find it. I don't think it's on my desk. It might be.

My file-drawer has spontaneously decided that its default position should be half-open.

I'd ask what next, but really I'd rather know where is my chocolate.

File drawers with a mind of their own

Interesting coincidence - I've also got a file drawer that's more comfortable when half open. Remember the "heavy desk" in Grandma Esther's office? I use it for everything except my computer and one drawer, where I keep employee records, etc. that I use frequently insists upon a half open position. Maybe it has feelings and enjoys being bumped into whenever I slide my chair backwards - or maybe the floor isn't quite level? Re: the chocolate bar - just be happy it wasn't a macbook air. Hope dan has an uncluttered desk.

Chocolate is good. May you have plenty soon. May you find the missing chocolate before the weather gets too warm.

o_O

I hadn't thought of that. Hm.

My leading hypothesis is that d. ate it, though he doesn't remember eating chocolate matching the description of the one I bought. ;)

Rover, perhaps? ;-) (If it was small.)

She's not bright enough to eliminate all the evidence. :)

d. says he ate some chocolate yesterday that he didn't remember buying, but it wasn't orange-flavoured, and he didn't think it matched the description I gave him. And I'd thought I put it on or in my desk, since he'd just complained about the kitchen counter being covered with too many snacks!

*shrug*

They make more.

Now I'm worried it'll melt in my desk, though. ;)

My office at work is WAY too hot. I hope it's better at home!

Good point about Rover and the evidence.

Perhaps the brownies thought you'd left it out for them.

No, wait, then your desk would be neater...

I'm voting for d, too, myself. :)

Do brownies eat brownies?

Hunh.....

Speaking of brownies eating chocolates, have you seen this?...

[identity profile] morgan-starfire.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Ow. Ow, ow, ow...!!!!! This is too funny.

[identity profile] da-lj.livejournal.com 2008-04-23 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
I found it. Fell behind a desk divider. ;)

Too late tonight to partake. I should be in bed already. :)

Hurrah!

Was it good? I'm assuming it's been eaten now. :)

[identity profile] da-lj.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Hee hee.

It hadn't been eaten when I started this comment. It is now half-eaten.

*Wow* is it good. Green and Black's "dark chocolate with orange and spices." Mmm.

Thanks for the reminder I should eat my damn chocolate. ;)
