it feels like Friday
Yesterday, I finished my last project for Kinesiology.
Today, I packed my office and stripped the deck.
The former, with boxes. The latter, with a pressure-washer loaned by
the_infamous_j's dad. Our house now has a nude deck.
I will admit, after spending three and a half hours removing mildew and stain from wood with a mere stream of water, that the evening was partly spent wondering, "what would the pressure-washer do to that? And that?" Due to time constraints, I never tried the other nozzle, the one
the_infamous_j says will make holes in stuff.
But I still have it here in the garage. So there may need to be an experiment.
Tomorrow, I move my stuff over to my new office in CS, borrow a projector from
pnijjar, mail taxes, and hopefully buy stain/sealer.

The number of times I've heard "that's a potential project for The New Guy" in the last term, you won't be able to retire until you're 95.

Better still: if you decide to paint, say, your new shed- just start whooping it up and the kids will be *there* for you.
