Out of all the "Machine X plays tune Y" videos that popped up lately, I like that one the least. I can barely recognize the tune.

Really? Huh. I can do this sort of audio "squinting" thing that lets me identify the tune OK... I realize it's rough, but that's 'cause it's a scanner 'n stuff. Just colour me amused. :)

...Which was your favourite one then? (having not watched any of the other ones myself.)

http://hackaday.com/2009/04/18/laser-cutter-plays-super-mario-bros-theme/ and http://www.geekologie.com/2009/03/the_imperial_march_played_on_a.php are two of my favourites.

There's also another one that was played on a some massive piece of machinery, but I can't remember what it is.

Hey, I really enjoyed it... especially the whole "orchestral" aspect (which goes perfectly with the song itself)--you can pick out all the different parts (piano, voice, guitar solos) etc. I can't imagine just how much time it must have taken to coordinate that many different machines.

This one is still my favourite. (Give it a minute to get going.)
