unconnected...

Tonight, on our walk:

It was decided that if I dye my hair blue in a pageboy, and I get photographed eating a cherry for a national advertising campaign, that is a dumpable offense. ...Dying my hair blue, in itself, is not a dumpable offense.

An idle speculation: at our local independent theatre, are the four choices of movie (war, violence, corpses, and insanity) really just about Halloween, or is it something more subtle?

It is best that d. and I not have kids. That is all.

We walked past our friends David and Lesley's house, and their younger child was dancing in the middle of the street with a friend. It was fairly dark at that point, and raining. We got close enough to see that Laura was dressed up in a huge wig, sunglasses and a Hawaiian shirt. They said they were rain-dancing. As soon as we left, they started dancing again.

It must be great, being seven.

I haven't danced in the rain, but I enjoy going out for a good puddle jumping every now and again.

Growing older is mandatory; growing up is not.

I haven't puddle jumped in ages, but I have taken [livejournal.com profile] roverthedog on several puddle comparison and evaluation tours...

My gf [livejournal.com profile] rbowspryte would have been dressed up and rain-dancing too. Plus, either of us would get extra relationship points for the blue hair/cherry ad combo. (That would be a beautiful photo, but I'd prefer to see a female model in it...)

Now what if you were in the ad campaign with your regular hair colour? Dumpable offense? Hope not. Oh, and what inspired this issue? an actual ad?

The actual ad is really tacky; it's a scary hairstyle ad. I'll try to photograph it the next time we're walking past it, and then you can decide whether you'd want to be part of the campaign.

I saw "Proof" at T&C a few years ago. It was actually pretty good, and would probably make a decent movie. It was even somewhat uplifting. Did you like "A Beautiful Mind"? It's basically another approach to the life of Nash.

I think you should obtain a blue wig and a cherry and imitate that ad for Hallowe'en :)

We saw Proof at T&C too- I liked it quite a bit. I expect I'll wait for it to come out on video, though.

I liked "A Beautiful Mind," but not as much as I'd hoped.

On Halloween, I'm going dressed as a painter. Um, to a painting party, actually. :)
