Sleepy

Tonight, I will get to bed before midnight. I'm not sleeping nearly as long as I need to be. Entirely because I don't have somebody around to push me away from my computer/book/movie at a reasonable time. 2am and later has been my friend too many times this week.

When I talked to [livejournal.com profile] melted_snowball, he threatened to call me at 11:30pm to tell me to go to bed. I think that's overkill. At least at this stage. I'm not depressed; I'm just being dumb about going to bed.

Right now I'm supposed to be talking on the phone with somebody I volunteer with, and I'm so tired I think I might postpone. I'm also not gonna go see either of two families who I've promised a social call since... January at least. (sorry [livejournal.com profile] tbiedl!)

In other news, this weekend I volunteered to produce a newsletter, which is something totally new and exciting for me.

Also, I accidentally just typed something in the URL bar instead of the google bar, and firefox completed it by doing a google "I'm Feeling Lucky". The top google hit was something I wrote. Woo!

Go to bed.

[Well, ok, go to bed in a couple hours.]

*smooch*

*sigh* 30 minutes late, but I am going to bed, now.

Safe travels tomorrow, & give "the guys" a hug 'n a kiss for me. :)

It's kind of funny. My wife has to call me and tell me to go to bed when she's travelling. When she's around, I'm able to keep normal hours. When she's gone, I go off the reservation.

The person who I had the phone-date with last night (which I kept, being a good doobie) is in the same situation- when her partner is gone, she stays up way too late. Otherwise, no problem.

She called it "geektime" since she always gets lost doing geeky stuff. :)
