timing, timing...
This morning
lovecraftienne pointed out that shortly we'll see 01:02:03 04/05/06 (true, one of very many permutations of the similar, but still sort of neat).
Depending on flight times, I probably won't see that hour at all. I fly from Toronto at 2030 EDT (UTC -500), land in Halifax at roughly 1 hour later (but UTC -400) then take off possibly an hour later so just before midnight local time. Since there are 4 more timezones to travel, but it takes 6 or so hours of flight-time, it looks like I hit UTC -300 just before 1am, when it suddenly becomes just before 2am.
Unless we are routed north over Newfoundland and Labrador, in which case I think I hit 1:02am in UTC -250. That would be neat. I'll be sure to find out our route from the cabin crew.
I wonder if they'll think I'm a nut.
I wonder if they'll be right.
