dadan: Of course, that [MIT] frosh program was designed as an alternative by faculty who didn't like the preexisting alternative frosh program.
me: so it's the alternative alternative program?
dan: yes. Though I'm not sure the students need to be alternative alternative.
me: I think they should be. ...I wonder how long until we have degrees in Emo Studies?
