daDay: seized.
Drove into Toronto so d. could be all professorial for a big university job fair.
Spent a while with our friends David & Leslie and their two kids Adrian (12) and Laura (9), who just moved from around the corner from us, to Queen West West area. I miss dropping in on them. But their new place is well-situated, and they made pains to say they had lots of room for visitors.
While dan went off to do his work, I played with our hosts, then wandered off and CD & book shopped; then d & I went to Jamie Kennedy's gastro-pub for a terrific dinner.
Driving home in the (sometimes heavy) rain sucked, but otherwise, I couldn't have asked for a more fun Saturday.
