WTF Wednesday
Wednesday, 8 August 2007 10:36 amYou've probably already seen this but Thai police are using Hello Kitty Punishment. I wonder how well it will work.
...There's a machine extruding curbs on the roadbed under reconstruction near my office. In goes wet concrete, out comes fully-shaped and properly placed curbs. No wooden forms, no human shaping of the curbs at all as far as I can tell. I have to admit I'm sort of entranced- I had no idea they could do that. They've nearly finished with both sides of the road, no more than a day and a half after they started. We have the technology!
Paprika looks like it could be a lot of fun. If also quite weird.

Date: Wednesday, 8 August 2007 07:33 pm (UTC)Maybe they'll go back and fix it by hand afterwards.
Maybe we'll get useful information regarding machine rooms around the same time.

Your machine rooms are being done by the crew working on the Ring Road?...
