Ontario to fund more for higher education
Wednesday, 8 March 2006 11:20 amThere was a video camera pointed at my work building this morning, so I did a bit of googling. Apparently the province of Ontario just announced they'd increase higher-ed funding.

It leads: The McGuinty government is providing a student access guarantee that means no qualified Ontario student will be prevented from attending Ontario's public colleges and universities due to lack of financial support programs.
A quick browse says they're changing the financial aid formula to increase Access Grants to students from families earning up to $75k/yr, roughly the median income. It doesn't look like it's based on loans.
