Neat Map

da: A smiling human with short hair, head tilted a bit to the right. It's black and white with a neutral background. You can't tell if the white in the hair is due to lighting, or maybe it's white hair! (Default)
US Religions, mapped by county. If I'm to take one thing from it, though I expected it for the Mormons, I'm surprised at how clumped the Baptists and Lutherens are.

...That one high-density concentration of Mennonites in upstate NY? That's where my folks are. I'm sure there would be a similar blob where I live now, if the map didn't halt at the border.

I'm perplexed by the high density of Quakers in southeastern Colorado. I suppose the overall person density is just low (based on a look at google maps), and there might be a few Evangelical Friends churches in the area. It's too far East for Colorado Springs, I think. The Alaska Quaker blob isn't a surprise; there's a largely-Innuit Yearly Meeting up there.

The Colorado Quakers seem to be a change, from 1990 to 2000, according to this other survey which used the same source, but 1990 data.
