Yes- it went very well. From my perspective, I learned enough to justify the work I did beforehand on arrangements. I think everyone left happy; a few people want repeat workshops, and I think there might be a local guy who would like to do one, so this could theoretically be the start of something.
Not a single glitch, so far as I know. Oh, one of the room's hubs didn't have DHCP on it, so we had to run an ethernet cable to one of the other hubs. That was the worst of it.
One of the participants brought a camera, which may have captured the glorious mess of the room half-way through the seminar; there was ethernet, phone, and power cables running every which way, as well as half of Simon's home network and a small telco-room's worth of stuff stacked on a centre table.
We even managed to put everything in the lab back the way it was when we were done.
