daCheck out cheffy.com, a recipe search site with lots and lots of options. I tried "what can I make with these ingredients" for the ingredients "potato" "onion" and "egg", and it found spanish omlette, though the recipe was sort of shabby. But a number of other recipes looked fine, so at least it could be a first filter for what recipes I should be looking for.
Their search for "what recipes exclude these ingredients" has more dietary exclusions than I've ever seen before. (Citrus-free, Cow dairy-free, Gluten-free, Wheat-free, Egg-free, and Yeast-free? 155 matches.)
It's beta, and a bit clunky-feeling at times, but I will definitely play with this some more.
