Long day.

But, it was capped by: a pretty decent Quaker committee meeting, a good 20 minutes on the phone with my sweetie, and a walk with the pooch. So it wasn't all bad.

I wish my office/lights/glasses weren't giving me eye-strain. Or, that I knew which of the three is responsible. Maybe I'm just sleep-deprived. I'll work with that; and if you'll excuse me, it's time to go collect valuable data toward refuting that hypothesis.

Do you use the fluorescents in your office? I find they always give me headaches, thus the cave that is my own office. (I'll be honest, I plain just like it better that way too.) It was hell when I was sharing my office, my roomies always liked the lights on.

sleep depreviation always does it for me. but there are a series of exercises you can do for your eyes, like taking a break while working to focus on something far away and holding your hands over them to rest them (this is apparently better than just shutting them for a while). you might want to google for a better description, or use the cute program workrave, which will prompt you to do those.
