I've been mournful with my dimension
Tuesday, 28 March 2006 11:31 pm(Spam subject lines are great sometimes.) [1]
I realized, at C&J's artsy fartsy night tonight, that I haven't written about my upcoming trip nearly 'nuff.
Next Tuesday evening, I fly to London, England. The next morning (local time) arrive and go find my lodgings in Kilburn (shouldn't be more tricky than flying into Boston and finding my way to, say, Brighton on the Green Line; though, probably more like flying in Laguardia and finding my way to somewhere in Brooklyn. Anyway.) And some time soon thereafter, I get to see my sweetie, at last.
Plans in London, beyond just having together-time: Seeing basic tourist things. Visiting Blechley Park [2] with
frankie_ecap. Probably going to a cathedral church service, also with
frankie_ecap. ...
Those are the essentials that we've planned. Anything beyond the ordinary that you think we should do? We're there from the 5th to the morning of Sunday the 9th.
I simultaneously can't wait, and can't believe it's only a week away after waiting patiently the last month...
[1] this spam-line is especially apt, since I've been fooling with 75 dimensions. Though not terribly mournfully.
[2] We're in luck, too; according to their website, they will have just re-opened for visitors after a renovation. Apparently the Enigma computer is on display. Cool. ...I'm considering rereading the Alan Turing biography I read, ages ago, but I probably won't have time before I go.
