I would be happier if...

Right now I would be happier if:

...I'd gotten more than a single hand's hours of sleep last night,

I hadn't managed to double-book May the 13th by not telling melted_snowball about my other plans, so he (quite reasonably) got plane tickets to arrive in Buffalo when I'm supposed to be tabling at a Nonviolence Festival uptown,

My laptop's battery wasn't apparently dead to the world,

Our back yard at home weren't covered in dandelions growing in,

and for a task at work due tomorrow, I could figure out a hard-disk replicating process that worked on the hardware we've got.

I'm sorry you didn't sleep well. (I didn't either, but I'm jetlagged...)

I'm sure we'll figure out some way for me to get home from BUF next month. (Hey--it's an airport I haven't been to in the past few months!)
