Google Calendar can show you a 4-day weather forecast. And, anything else you can supply it via .ical data, apparently. Who would've thunk, a weather forecast on a calendar? ...Looks great for this weekend, at least.

Today has chewed me up and spit me out. I'd not have minded as much but I slept very badly last night, probably thanks to the amounts of caffeine I drank yesterday. Dumb, dumb.

Once my friends started getting to be thirty-something, several of them started tapering back on coffee and cola in the evenings, then the afternoons.

While I don't seem to be beset by "caffeine after XXh => insomnia", I have found (now that I drink alcohol only when I make a very deliberate choice to do so) that more than a sip of beer, wine or port in the late evening will result in me being wide awake in the wee hours when the sedative/poison has worn off.

...yeah, early 30s for me. I've been cutting back on caffeine in the evenings for a while. But for some reason I decided I needed a big coffee mid-afternoon, and a caffeinated pop with dinner. Dumb.

My dad's decided chocolate keeps him up. I hope I didn't inherit that one.

I agree. If I want to sleep, there's two choices when it comes to alcohol. None, or way too much. Unfortunately, only one of those choices comes with a problem-free morning. Of course, that didn't stop me from sharing a few pitchers after work today . . .

Expect posts from me at 2am now.
