I believe I've solved the raccoon-knocking-off-composter-top problem, at least until they figure out how to unhook bungie cords.

Hm.
It's not just a simple bungie; it's got twisted wire, as well. Maybe that'll hold them for another... hour?
Of course, they could always slide up the door at the bottom, and dig into the dirt until they hit the good stuff.
Heck, if they can open doors, I'm surprised we don't hear of more raccoon burglery in the night. Creepy. :)
