Trepanation or drugged stupor? Choices, choices...
Wednesday, 18 May 2005 10:43 amI really can't decide which is worse, the sinus/head-cold thingy I seem to have gotten, or the pseudophedrine-based extra-strength cold medicine I gave myself last night. Yes, they did the trick and made my head stop pounding (along with my eye-teeth, boy that was annoying, made trepanation feel like a valid option). But 10 hours after I took the pills, they have worn off enough so I don't need to worry about operating heavy machinery. This is good, since I'm picking dan up from the airport, at about 11 tonight.
Current plan for the morning: lie in bed. Sleep more. Feel better.

I find that local decongestants, like Afrin Spray provide just as good comfort to my nose/sinuses without all the nasty side effects of a pill.
Good luck and hope you feel better soon!
