Asphalt Jungle

Has anyone here seen Asphalt Jungle? d. & I have tickets for tonight. It sounds odd, but maybe a lot of fun, if the weather holds. I've always wanted to go to theatre on the fifth floor of a parking structure.

Well, actually I hadn't, until it was suggested by redsash. But now I do.

Pre-dinner conversation

dan: Of course, that [MIT] frosh program was designed as an alternative by faculty who didn't like the preexisting alternative frosh program.

me: so it's the alternative alternative program?

dan: yes. Though I'm not sure the students need to be alternative alternative.

me: I think they should be. ...I wonder how long until we have degrees in Emo Studies?
