See, I took a few spills on ice some years ago, and what with the blood (biting my tongue) and bruises and scrambling to pick everything up again off the frozen ground before I became road-pizza, I don't care to repeat the process. :)

Snow tires would mean I'd have to park the bike wet in the garage, and that would do a number on the chain/gears in short time.

So, yah. Unfortunately, my odometer will probably continue to read 4995 mi. until the next thaw. :)
