melted_snowball has stayed home to intercept the repair people, who should arrive within the half-hour. Fortunate thing, that, since it's around 16°C in the house.
Meanwhile, I have a minor head-cold. But I'm at work, and feeling fairly OK.

Date: Thursday, 3 January 2008 11:29 pm (UTC)Several good meals: Amaya (kind of "nouvelle Indian" and very innovative) and tonight was Hakkasan (kind of "nouvelle Chinese" and pretty innovative). Tomorrow: Rasoi Vineet Bhatia, which is supposed to be quite good.
I'd like to see "Shadowlands" tomorrow night (last night here), but it would mean possibly canceling my dinner reservation. Ugh. I'm on vacation. I don't want to choose. I want it ALL! :-)
Lots of running around, musea, etc. The verger's tour in Westminster Cathedral is really worth it.
