Around 4:30 this morning, Rover started barking. I think she was at a window, because through all the open windows, it echoed just like she was outside.
That was a scary way to half-wake up; thinking the dog must've been left outside overnight somehow. I'm sure it was worse for d. though, when I woke him up saying, "Is Rover outside?"
...When I went downstairs and she greeted me with the "must go outside now" dance, I let her out right away, and as soon as she got outside, she tore off after a cat. Barking her fool head off. At least when I shouted "No! Bad dog! Come!" she came right away. However, she sure didn't win any points from me nor from d.
Usually, it's wonderful having a dog.
