Glad to be there. Going to Meeting is one of the most important things in my life at the moment, and the prospect of becoming more involved with Quakers is the most hopeful.
Daniel, I would read anything you would write. It takes a lot of courage to put it out there... especially in an open blog where the risk of trolls is higher. When I first started at LJ I had a very open blog, which has gradually narrowed so it's only open to the people I already know who already read it. I've also been kicking the tires of transitioning to an open (and independent) forum. You're courage sets an excellent example.
Thank you. Though trolls are less my worry; I've done much more wibbling about claiming to be "authoritative" about anything Quaker-related, or even having anything interesting to say, than I have about trolls. I guess we've each got our own hurdles.
It's a gradual process, and putting my foot out there feels less scary now, with the support I've currently got, than it would have in the past.
And if I can finish a better fraction of the draft posts I've started over there, rather than having a few sitting in the purgatory of being not perfect enough... well, that'll be great too. :)

Glad to have you along.
