Only three nights?
Monday, 20 February 2006 09:07 pmWell, this has been a full four days/three nights. It certainly feels like I was gone longer. I'll have more to say about the trip later. But:
Things that rock:
Seeing my sweetie, including having most of an afternoon alone with him today, even though Ann Arbor MI was f'ing cold and all the museums were closed. Getting home with no highway troubles at all. Buying new hiking boots this afternoon at the outlet mall in Windsor, with much less money or fuss than I expected.
Things that suck:
Not knowing when I'll next be seeing d., and not being able to plan because I don't know his travel schedule. Discovering that we left the refrigerator door open on Friday. Hitting eleven red lights coming off the highway on Homer Watson (there might have been more, I think I lost count, and I rarely come home from that direction). Beginning to do an assessment of the things spoiling in the fridge... Ugh.
Time for a beer, and for watching the last of the new Doctor Who episodes I've got stockpiled (season 2, episode 1, Attack of the Graske). (
lovecraftienne - the CBC hasn't restarted the season 2 schedule yet, have they?)
Edit: Oh, for Pete's sake- it wasn't an episode, it was only a promo "interactive" piece, 15 minutes worth. *scowl*
