dammit, why can't these folks stop making so many distracting and useful widgets to play with?

Google subscribed links will, effectively, insert news-sources of your choice at the top of search results.

For example, I just added digg to mine and did a search for 'macbook':



I also added google-sightseeing.

This is worth playing with, but I should be playing with the dog instead.

Yep, I'm not certain I'll want to put up with the clutter, either. Though it's not so bad on searches w/o ads plus news-items also.

And yes, roverthedog will let me know when it's time. She's the master of sitting-at-attention-by-my-side and staring at me until I step away from the computer. Which perhaps doesn't work as often as it should.

There's the odd night when I'm up past 1am and after phase 1 fails, she'll make a little 'grump'/sigh noise and go off to bed by herself. It's both very cute, and a little sad too.
