dammit, why can't these folks stop making so many distracting and useful widgets to play with?

Google subscribed links will, effectively, insert news-sources of your choice at the top of search results.

For example, I just added digg to mine and did a search for 'macbook':



I also added google-sightseeing.

This is worth playing with, but I should be playing with the dog instead.

Whereas, I should not, because I will spend too much time clicking on earthquakes. When I had a summer job at the Cornell Geology Department, I was a bit obsessive about that.
