According to plan, I was supposed to fly from Chicago to Buffalo, arriving around midnight, getting to bed around 3am, and have a reasonably normal day today.

Instead: heavy storms stall most air-travel on the Eastern Seaboard (at least out of ORD) until about 10pm, and while emaki and I made it to BUF by 1am, only 1 hour delayed, our friend Raymond's flight was delayed three hours. So we finally left the airport at 3:30am, getting home after sunup.

I don't want to do that again.

Now, I'm reasonably (?) slept, and looking forward to Virginia Woolf tonight. And dan's Citizenship party tomorrow evening (5pm onward at our place; if you've not replied that you're coming, please let me know so I can make sure we have enough food? thanks!)

[edit: grr. dan just called, the car battery's dead. hopefully we'll get to the show tonight.]
