Quilting as in Meeting quilting-bees or such?

I love love LOVE how Quakers are so big on handiworks. Just about every time I've seen riverrocks IRL, he's had darning-needles in his hand. Hm, almost ditto for morgan_starfire, though she's often busy with non-crafts responsibilities, and fyddlestyx has a knitting blog.

Someone has started bringing her knitting to Business Meeting locally, and it makes me quite glad- I have happy memories of many Queer Quaker business sessions including the above people with their knitting and darning... :)
