Oh, and we did fried pickle-spears, but they didn't rate the epic taste of Beerworks'. And I was in too much of a post-fried torpor to experiment with the batter to try and fix that.

I have heard of restaurants (there's one in NYC, I'm pretty sure) that specialize in deep-fried stuff specifically.
